Well,

This week has been interesting, not so school involved... Belt drive bits are on the way, night ride going on at Bubba's, and venturing out to the Kettles Saturday morning weather permitting. Pictures will be posted as available.

Well,

The Beechwood Blaster wasn't sounding so appealing at the time, so I decided to come home, visit, and put together a rad bike.

Chains suck.

This weekend I participated in my first WORS race and the last WORS race of the season. It took place in Sheboygan, and went up Sunday morning at 8:00am. I was supposed to race Sport SS with Bubba, but long story short, that didn't exactly happen. It was quite cold, and wasn't feeling the greatest either. I met up with Bryce from the shop and we got going at 11:30am. It was a nice course, not exactly rigid friendly, but to make a short story even shorter, I made it a lap and a half before braking my chain on a climb that was nothing to brag about. I was a bit upset, over the fact that I wouldn't get to finish, and the fact that I would have to walk back the other half of the course. It was a positive experience all in all though, I got to meet some sweet people, and see some people I haven't seen in a while. This next weekend, I am planning on racing in the Beechwood Blaster. I will be riding gears for this event, and rock some old steel.

MEGA WIN.

This past weekend Connor and I ventured out to the Gateway to the West to visit his sister. We knew right away even before we left the dorms that this trip would be a "trip". Thursday night we probably didn't go to bed at a reasonable hour in order to get up at 4:oo am because we definitely did not get up at 4am. Our flight was supposed to leave General Mitchell at 7am, so we supposed 4am was a good time to rise. Well, it didn't exactly work like that. We both slept through our alarms, and luckily Connor awoke at 5:30am. Just in time to say "OH SHIT!". At that time, I promptly packed my bags, closed the windows, printed out directions, and ran out the door. Our friend who stayed that night was nice enough to take us to the airport and we arrived there at 6:15am. We ran to the AA desk, and was notified that the flight was canceled, and they were sorry for the inconvience and we would have to board a bus to Chicago at 6:45 am, our flight would leave Chicago at 9:45am. We were a little surprised, and too tired to complain, so we took out tickets and $20 food voucher they gave us. From here on out the whole trip to our destination was a blur. We got on the bus, kind of slept, as best you can in a chair, got off, went through security, Connor got his baby Swiss Army knife taken away, went to McDonald's, only to find out they were somehow out of every meat possible, then proceeded to Starbucks, where we spend $22 on six pastries, and two triple shot vanilla lattes. We then got on the plane, and arrived in STL. Like I said nothing on this trip can be easy. We found a taxi to take us to Jenna's school, found out we told the taxi driver the wrong street name, only $27 into the taxi cab ride, and once we got to the school, were mobbed by little 3rd graders, in which, we were the only white people under the age of 20 present there. To wrap this story up, we made some food for Jenna's friends, went to the Michael Franti concert. Woke up late Saturday morning, shopped, ate, went to a Roarin' 20's party that night, and left the next morning. Overall, the trip was a success, ad will definitely be going back.

I'm writing this from a plane, got a free trial to some Wifi provider for the airplane, pretty sweet stuff. Going to St. Louis for the weekend, my friends sister lives there. I wish I could be riding this weekend, but I will just have to wait.
